The Best Way To Track Your Gymnast's Progress
Each class, starting with Star Prep, has a collection of skills that are required to move up to the next level. These skills are on a progression track so from class level to class level the skills get harder. These assessed skills are not the only skills that a gymnast learns in their class, but they are the important skills to move up to the next level.
There will be specific weeks of the session that will be assessment weeks. During these weeks the standard class event schedule will not be followed as instead the kids will be assessed on all skills for that class level. Once the assessment is completed, the coach will input it into the Fullout system, and it will become available for parents and gymnasts to see.
The skills are assessed out of 5 stars. With 1 star being just starting to learn a skill, and 5 stars being the skill has been mastered. To move up to the next level a gymnasts must have an average star rating of at least 4.5 stars.
Check Your Progress
To check the skills in the parents portal, you must log in to the Fullout portal or app. Then click on Family tab. Click on the child who’s skills you want to check. The skill level that they are in will be shown above their enrollment. There will be a rating out of five stars for your child and the last assessment date. Click on that to see the rating for the events and individual skills.
